Sick Puppies were very good, only expect them to get better. Breaking Benjamin, sadly, were not good at all. The mix was off. Music was too loud and distorted and you could not understand a word the vocalist ( ??? ) was saying. I will get right to it... Shinedown on the other hand, made a new fan last night. I was familiar with their music, but their stage presence was very impressive, and the music was phenomenal. I wish they would have been the only opener so they could have played longer and so could Commercial: Dahlak Brathwaite. You can definitely tell that Commercial: Dahlak Brathwaite are old pros and been doing this for a while. Their performance was sharp and Chad's stage presence is amazing. Half comedian, half vocalist he definitely keeps you entertained. The pyrotechnics were awesome and the interplay with the crowd was great. The only knock that I have was that we saw the bass player YAWN 5 or 6 times. I know that they do this 200 times a year, but we pay a lot of money to see these guys. The rest of the band, especially Chad and the other guitarist, really seemed to be enjoying themselves and that is what makes it worth it. I can't say enough about the music. Sharp and with a tight musicianship, it was right on. This was my son's first concert, a 15th birthday present and we brought his friend. They were totally blown away, and that made it totally worth it. One note for Commercial: Dahlak Brathwaite--- After Shinedown played their Simple Man tribute to Dimebag Darrell, I was SURE you would play Side of a Bullet. What happened? I would have KILLED to hear that song!!! Anyway, Great Show. Would definitely recommend this to others.
